Unit Secretary – Columbus Community Hospital

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, including courses in English, Spelling, and Math
  • Must have excellent customer relations telephone skills

  • Bilingual preferred, but not required

Nurse Aid – Columbus Community Hospital

Columbus Medical Clinic – Receptionist

  • Must be a High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Organizational skills a plus
  • 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday

Clinical Informatics Specialist – Information Technology

  • RN/LVN/Medical Assistant certification preferred
  • Maintain the electronic medical system, software application and databases for Columbus Community Hospital and its associated rural health clinics.
  • The specialist develops an understanding of the application functionality, reporting capabilities, interfacing and integration associated with clinical applications assigned and trains physician and staff accordingly.
  • Ensures compliance with Promoting Interoperability measures as governed by CMS.
  • Information technology/systems experience preferred. Project management skills required.
  • Routine duty hours – 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday. Extended hours may be required to accommodate meetings, in-services and/or additional workload with approval from Administration. Some travel may be required to attend in-services, meetings, etc. On call availability required.

Clinical Social Worker with an LCSW – Columbus Medical Clinic

  • Part-time/Full-time – Hours may vary
  • Licensed Social Worker
  • Ability to deal efficiently, ethically and courteously with all clients and hospital personnel in a confidential manner
  • Requires good communication, listening and telephone skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Meeting with client to access client’s behavior, history, condition, needs and create treatment strategies.
  • Provide services to patients and/or their families.
  • Diagnose psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders.
  • Develop and put treatment strategy in place.
  • Collaborate with doctors, other health professionals and support groups
  • Counseling individuals and families going through difficult situations

Registered Radiologic Technologist –Full Time

  • Sunday – Thursday 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., rotating shifts/holidays as needed
  • Formal training in an Accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board in good standing
  • Must be able to perform all radiological procedures/computed tomography (CAT Scan)
  • Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks timely and effectively
  • Must have a knowledge in EMR/Picture Archiving and PAC’s
  • Must be able to work independently

Medical Assistant or LVN – Columbus Medical Clinic

  • Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Must be a High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Clinical experience preferred for LVN-current licensure with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners

Registered Radiologic Technologist –Full Time

  • Sunday – Thursday 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., rotating shifts/holidays as needed
  • Formal training in an Accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board in good standing
  • Must be able to perform all radiological procedures/computed tomography (CAT Scan)
  • Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks timely and effectively
  • Must have a knowledge in EMR/Picture Archiving and PAC’s
  • Must be able to work independently

Registered Nurse – Surgery, PACU/Intake

  • Full-time
  • RN with current Texas license, BLS required
  • Previous PACU/Intake experience preferred. Previous nursing experience required.
  • Monday-Friday; 8-hour day shift with rotating weekly, weekend, and holiday call.

Registered Nurse – ER

  • Full-time
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Experienced RN with ED experience required.
  • RN with current licensure with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners; ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and CPR. Computer and software skills required.
  • 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., 3 days a week, every other weekend and holidays.

Registered Nurse

  • Full-time
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. Experience RN with ED experience required; TNCC; ACLS; PALS, BLS, computer and software skills; communication skills.
  • 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. night shift (12 hours), including every other weekend and holidays.

Registered Nurse- OB

  • At least 3 years experience in labor and delivery, including the nursery. ACLS, PALS, NRP & fetal monitoring experience required
  • 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. shift, 3 days a week including every other weekend.
  • Registered Nurse- Night Nurse Manager
  • Previous nursing management skills, ability to communicate effectively, follow hospital policies and procedures, direct and develop staff, collaboration with physicians and members of the healthcare team. BLS, ACLS and PALS, NRP preferred.
  • Monday through Friday, 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. with alternating on-call on weekends shared with other nurse managers, hours may vary.
