Free Cholesterol and A1C Screenings

Visit the Columbus Community Wellness Center February 21-22 from 7AM to 9AM for free cholesterol and A1C Screenings. No appointment is necessary for the screenings, and no insurance is required. You can choose to have one, or both screenings, and your results will be mailed to you. Please refrain from eating or drinking anything other than water for at least 9 hours before the screening.

Friends of CCH – Nutrition featuring Amanda Cernosek, FNP-C

The Friends of CCH event will be held Wednesday March 1, 2023 to kickoff National Nutrition Month. Our first Friends of CCH speaker is one of our nurse practitioners, Amanda Cernosek, who has a background in hospital, geriatric, and clinic medicine, and will be discussing the topic of nutrition. After the presentation, Amanda will be available for questions from the audience, and then attendees can join us for a round of bingo for a chance to win some healthy snacks.

Free Prostate Screenings: PSA Blood Test

Prostate cancer screenings at Columbus Community Hospital use a simple blood test to measure the level of prostate specific antigens (PSA) in the blood. Elevated PSA levels can be an indicator of prostate cancer, as well as other prostate conditions. Prostate screenings are recommended for men over 50, although certain factors like a family history
