May 7-13 is National Hospital Week, an opportunity to recognize the health care workers, hospitals, and health systems that improve and save lives in our communities.
This year is especially important among our rural hospital communities as we recognize and celebrate the selfless health care workers who continue striving to provide great care to patients in the face of continued workforce and financial challenges.
Columbus Community Hospital is an important pillar of our community thanks to the tireless efforts of our health care workers who build trust with the people in Columbus and the surrounding communities through the excellent care, support, and education they offer.
From the hospital to the clinics to the wellness center, our dedicated health care workers support the mission of Columbus Community Hospital to advance health and wellness in the Columbus region each and every day.
There are over 6.3 million health care workers across the country, all working towards a greater goal to provide vital and lifesaving care every single day. From routine health checks to complex treatment to emergency care, health care workers play an active role in improving the health and wellbeing of their communities and the country as a whole.
A longstanding tradition, National Hospital Day was established in 1921 and later changed to National Hospital Week in 1953.
