Visit the Columbus Community Wellness Center February 21-22 from 7AM to 9AM for free cholesterol and A1C Screenings.
We believe total health care is more than just receiving care when you are sick. Our wellness center is designed around that idea, and preventative screenings are another great resource offered at our wellness center that helps you achieve total health.
Cholesterol screenings measure cholesterol and triglyceride blood levels that may be an indicator of heart disease. A1C screenings can be used to diagnose type 1 and type 2 diabetes and blood sugar management for those already diagnosed with diabetes.
No appointment is necessary for the screenings, and no insurance is required. You can choose to have one, or both screenings, and your results will be mailed to you. Please refrain from eating or drinking anything other than water for at least 9 hours before the screening. The A1C screenings are available at no cost thanks to the generosity and partnership with the Columbus Lions Club.
Please contact us here if you have any questions about these free screenings.
