March 30 is Doctors’ Day, a day to celebrate and appreciate all our incredible physicians.
Doctors’ Day is an opportunity to acknowledge and thank our physicians who care for our community in our hospital and clinics. And, it’s an opportunity to recognize doctors’ many medical advancements and their continuous efforts to improve modern health care.
Although not officially recognized as a holiday until 1990, Doctors’ Day has been celebrated every March 30 since 1933, the first anniversary of a doctor administering ether anesthesia. Important milestones like this highlight the vital role doctors play in caring for us and driving innovation.
At Columbus Community Hospital, our doctors provide a wide range of services, including orthopedics, labor and delivery, surgery, and outpatient services.
