Columbus Community Hospital continues its strong tradition of investing in a healthy future for the Columbus region with the addition of pediatrician Mohsen Aboelella, M.D., to its specialty team.
“Our children are the future, and they deserve the very best care possible,” said Columbus Community Hospital CEO James Vanek. “I can think of nothing more important than investing in the health and wellness of Columbus’ future leaders and community members.”
Dr. Aboelella recently completed his pediatric residency at the UT Health Science Center at Houston, after working at Alexandra Pediatric Center in Alexandria, Egypt. While there, he published a peer-reviewed study on treating a rare complication in pediatric cancer patients.
He holds numerous specialty certifications, including BLS (basic life support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Dr. Aboelella sees patients from newborns through age 18 at the Columbus Medical Clinic.
