Columbus Community Hospital’s Annual Fundraising Dinner and Auction will raise funds for advanced surgery and maternity care equipment as the hospital deploys innovative and state-of-the-art equipment to continue advancing high quality care for the Columbus region. The dinner will be held August 10 at the Stafford Opera House in Columbus at 6:00 p.m.
Sponsorships and donations will go toward high-tech, advanced equipment that will support hospital care teams during surgeries and maternity care visits and enhance the care experience in other areas of the hospital. Funds will be used to purchase
• C-Arm machine: Flexible and mobile X-ray device used during surgeries to provide surgery teams with high-resolution images in real time.
• Bedside ultrasound machine: Portable ultrasound machine that will be used by OBGYN, emergency room, and surgery teams throughout the facility to minimize stress and movement for patients.
• 3D ultrasound machine: Creates a high-resolution 3D scan so parents can “meet” their baby before they are born.
The hospital’s fundraising goal for this year’s event is $250,000. In addition to raising funds through an auction at the August 10 fundraising dinner, the hospital is seeking event sponsorships. Event sponsors can support the hospital at one of three different sponsorship levels by calling Betty Hajovsky at 979-493-7577. More information about sponsorships can be found here.
Every donation to Columbus Community Hospital represents an important investment in the health and wellness of families and individuals throughout the Columbus community. Donations sent to the hospital before July 26 will be recognized.
