November 1, 2021 (Columbus, TX) – Columbus Community Hospital welcomes Rosemary Buckle, M.D., FAAOS, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, to its family of physicians. Her first day seeing patients will be Monday, November 8. Dr. Buckle received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.
“I am delighted Dr. Buckle is joining our team at Columbus Community Hospital,” said James Vanek, CEO, Columbus Community Hospital. “She is a dedicated and accomplished physician, researcher, and educator and is a real asset for our community.”

Buckle received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed her internship/residency in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at the University of Colorado and University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Prior to joining CCH, Buckle served as chief of orthopedic surgery at HCA Houston and vice chief of orthopedic surgery at St. Joseph Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, and the Notre Dame Monogram Club.
