A state-of-the-art facility that promotes total wellness.
Melvin Jones belonged to a downtown Columbus gym for more than 20 years before deciding to switch to the Columbus Community Hospital Wellness Center soon after it opened in October 2022. After two knee replacements in 2022 and several months of physical therapy at the Wellness Center, he was looking for something more than a traditional exercise gym and decided to try the 30-day trial membership.
“It was one of the best lifestyle changes I’ve ever made. In just 30 days I could see and feel a real difference that I wasn’t getting at my old gym.”
The Wellness Center features state-of-the-art weight equipment that uses compressed air for resistance, and water aerobics classes that combine low-impact workouts with a supportive class structure. These features led Melvin to switch to the Wellness Center, where he exercises five times a week.
“I was hesitant at first, but the water aerobics classes sold me on the Wellness center, and the state-of-the-art equipment, pool, and clean facilities make it a big city-quality convenience in a small town,” said Melvin.
The Columbus Community Hospital Wellness Center is a well-rounded facility promoting total wellness. The Wellness Center incorporates high-tech exercise equipment, physical therapy, nutrition education, and fitness classes to create a place where everyone can build towards better health.
